Key Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to own and grow strategic client relationships at Atiom. This role is not about day-to-day delivery or project execution. Instead, it is focused on building trusted senior relationships, identifying opportunities, opening new doors within existing accounts, and driving commercial growth.

You are the face of Atiom to the client, responsible for understanding their organization, spotting opportunities where Atiom can add value, and shaping initiatives that lead to new projects and long-term partnerships.

Once a project or initiative is agreed and won within an account, ownership of delivery is handed over to the Customer Success team. The Key Account Manager remains involved at a senior level to manage stakeholders and ensure strong relationships throughout.

This role is critical to Atiom’s growth and sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, relationship management, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Ownership 

  • Own senior relationships across a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary commercial and strategic point of contact.

  • Build deep understanding of client organizations, priorities, challenges, and decision-making structures.

  • Position Atiom as a long-term partner rather than a point solution.

Opportunity Identification and Growth
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts, including expansions, new use cases, and cross-department initiatives.

  • Proactively open doors to new stakeholders and decision makers within client organizations.

  • Shape opportunities from early conversations through proposal and commercial agreement.

  • Drive renewals and account growth in close collaboration with Customer Success leadership.

Project Initiation and Handover
  • Lead early phase conversations and discovery for new initiatives within accounts.

  • Define scope, objectives, and success criteria together with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Hand over signed projects to the Customer Success team for execution, ensuring a clear and structured transition.

  • Remain involved at a senior level during delivery for stakeholder management and relationship continuity, without owning day-to-day execution.

  • Facilitate regular business reviews with clients to showcase value delivered and align on next steps.

  • Build a database of case studies to support further expansion.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams to shape product development and client strategies.

  • Collaborate with the wider Customer Success team to share best practices and strengthen service delivery.

Client Representation and Internal Alignment
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally to help shape priorities, positioning, and account strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

  • Support internal teams with context and relationship insight rather than delivery management.
Working Hours and Location 
  • This role is based in Bangkok and works primarily towards the Central European Time zone. This means starting later in the day and finishing later to align with client and internal stakeholders in Europe.

  • Availability for client meetings in person and remotely is expected.

Qualifications

  • 6 plus years of experience in account management, client services, or partnership roles, ideally in SaaS, digital platforms, or agency environments.

  • Strong background in managing senior stakeholders and complex client organizations.

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive account growth.

  • Comfortable operating in a commercial role without owning delivery or day-to-day execution.

  • Experience working with enterprise and international clients..

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Highly organized with a strategic and consultative mindset.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings.
